There's Lots of Fun to be Had at Easter Events in West Michigan!
Non-profit organizations and businesses provide children with fun, wholesome, indoor and outdoor Easter activities to help beat the blahs of the winter to spring transition. From visits with the Easter bunny to an egg scramble on roller skates, there's lots of fun activities for kids of all ages!
Below is a list of Easter events scheduled for 2018. Additional events will be added as information becomes available.
Fountain & Free Soil
Tuesday, March 27th, 1pm SHARP - Special Needs Easter Egg Hunt & Bonnet Contest at the Circle Rocking S Children's Farm. Held in the barn; rain, shine, or snow. Reservations required by April 9th by calling (231) 462-3732.
Ludington & Scottville
Saturday, March 31st, 7am - Easter Blessing of the Children & Egg Hunt at Our Savior Lutheran Church- 765 US 10, Scottville. Easter service to include a blessing of the children with an egg hunt to follow.
Saturday, March 31st, 1pm SHARP - Ludington Area Jaycees Annual Easter Egg Hunt - Peter Copeyon Park on South Washington Avenue in Ludington. Approximately 6,000 total eggs stuffed with candy, toys, etc. will be out in a simultaneous hunt between these age groups: 4 and Under, 5-8, and 9-13. Two lucky kids in each age group will find a "golden ticket" which they'll turn in for a special prize! Please bring bags and plan to return emptied eggs to the Jaycees after the hunt.
Saturday, March 31st, 10:30-11:30am - Easter Eggstravaganza - St. John's Lutheran Church- 209 N. Rowe in Ludington. The event includes a FREE Egg hunt, candy, snacks, bubble pool, and music.
Saturday, March 31st, 2-4pm - Easter Bunny Visit at Creative Studio- 102 E. Filer St. in Ludington. Kids can visit with the Easter Bunny, have pictures taken, and receive easter eggs and treats at this free event. Photos will be available to see and purchase online at the Creative Studio Facebook page.
Sunday, March 11th, 11:30am-12:30pm - Easter Egg Scramble at Johnny's Skate Center, 2276 US 10 in Custer. Free admission, Prizes, 50/50 raffle, juice & cookies, pictures with the Easter Bunny, scramble, and more. Two age groups: 5 years & under and 6-10 years old.
Saturday, March 24th, 2pm-4pm - Easter Egg Hunt at Custer VFW Gold Bar Post #5096- 2022 State St. in Custer. Free and open to children age 1-12. Crafts and snacks will also be provided.
Saturday, March 31st, 12pm-3pm - Colleen Plummer's Annual Easter on the Green on the Village Green, 327 S. Hancock St., Pentwater. Sponsored by The Antler Bar and the Pentwater Chamber of Commerce. Meet the Easter Bunny, Easter Egg Hunt, Easter Bonnet parade and contest, musical chairs, face painting, and games.
Saturday, March 31st, 12pm-3pm - Hart Easter Egg Hunt, Oceana County Fairgrounds, Hart.
Saturday, March 31st, 1pm - Easter Egg Hunt, Pleasant Valley Community Center, Arcadia.
Saturday, March 31st, 1pm - Manistee Jaycees Easter Hunt - Jefferson Elementary School- 550 Maple St. in Manistee. Children 12 and under are welcome to the hunt and to visit with the Easter Bunny. Kids are asked to bring a basket for their eggs and be prepared for muddy conditions.
Sunday, April 1st, 10am - Easter Egg Hunt followed by games, snacks and iPod giveaway during 11am service. Manistee United Methodist Church- 387 First St.
